About the Role

With Mensana, you will develop a unique and comprehensive skillset starting from your first day on the job. We are an exceptional talent incubator because, as a boutique consulting firm, every team member gets the exposure and learning you simply do not get at the big shops. In this role, you will be responsible for generating qualified face-to-face meetings for our Executive Vice President and /or President. These meetings will be with key executive decision makers within a defined North American region. The primary means to accomplish this will be through direct telephone outreach gathering sales intelligence and building relationships so that the key decision maker has the supporting information and content to move forward with a meeting.

We are looking for a candidate with:

·The ability to confidently engage key executive decision makers in a dialogue and handle objections

·Ideally, a proven track record in cold calling, sales prospecting and appointment setting in the consulting industry or in an equivalent high value, high complexity sale

·Two to three years related sales experience, university degree an asset

·Excellent telephone and written communication skills

·Strong command of the English language

·Able to work independently and be self-motivated, goal orientated and dependable

·High level of energy, persistence and strong desire to achieve results

·Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed sales objectives

·Solid understanding of business principles and practices

·Familiarity with CRM software, preferably Salesforce.com

·Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word) and telephone protocol

·A results-focused mindset

·A strong belief that tomorrow can and should always be better than today!

·A strategic and contextual thinker who can adapt quickly to the needs of a customer

Interview Process

The interview process begins with a thorough resume review to identify candidates whose experience and background align well with the role. Selected applicants are then invited to submit a short video responding to the following prompt: “Sell us something you love—in 2 minutes or less. It doesn’t need to be a Management Consulting offering; it could be your favourite coffee, a book, or even an idea. The goal is to show us your personality and persuasion style.”

Video submissions are reviewed to assess communication skills, presence, and natural sales instincts. Depending on the clarity and strength of the video, candidates may either move directly to the next stage or be invited to a brief screening call for further discussion. Those who advance will participate in a virtual interview with members of the team to explore alignment with the role, company values, and working style. Finalists are then invited for an in-person interview with senior leadership as the last step in the process. When a candidate is selected, reference checks will be conducted and an offer extended.
