Job Description

Our client, a global leader in the industrial manufacturing industry, is seeking a National Service Sales Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Sales, this role involves sales and business development for existing and new customers, focusing on service, retrofits, and upgrades. The position is remote, with frequent travel across Canada (~50%, up to 5 business days at a time).

Responsibilities
  • Engage with clients through consultative selling
  • Communicate effectively with decision makers to develop leads and relationships
  • Provide product and service training and presentations
  • Collaborate with Service Leaders to meet customer needs
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts
  • Coordinate with European and US offices on projects and market insights
  • Assess market and competitive positioning
  • Build relationships with suppliers and factories
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • At least five years of experience in marketing, sales, or application engineering with complex equipment
  • Proven cold-calling and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and contracts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • French language skills are a plus
  • Strong planning, organization, and business acumen
  • This is a work-from-home role with frequent travel (~50%) across Canada
