As part of the Manulife Investment Management team, the Business Development Associate is a member of a wholesaling team that includes a District Vice President and a Business Development Manager.
Your main responsibility will be to partner with sales teams to achieve sales targets. This involves understanding the sales needs of your territories, participating in business development initiatives, and working directly with advisors.
You should be an effective communicator, well-organized, collaborative, proactive, a problem solver, and results-oriented. Occasional travel for training, meetings, and territory events is expected.
Basic knowledge of retail wealth products like mutual funds and ETFs will be beneficial for your career growth at Manulife Investment Management.
