Job summary

CDI College in Ontario is seeking a Sustainable Business Development Instructor on a part-time basis. The position offers hybrid/remote delivery and pays $29/hour. You will deliver instruction, prepare materials, and assess student progress in alignment with the college curriculum.

The ideal candidate holds a degree or diploma in Business or Marketing with at least two years of industry experience; adult education credentials are a plus. CDI College supports diverse learners across Canada.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Adult education certification is an asset.
• Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Knowledge of current industry practices and commitment to professional development.
• Ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instruction based on the course curriculum and learning objectives.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and exams.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and student progress records.
• Support students and promote a positive, respectful learning environment.
• Update course materials and contribute to curriculum development.
• Communicate with the Campus Director regarding student progress or concerns.
• Participate in campus activities, meetings, orientations, and graduations.
• Collaborate with administration and other instructors.
• Substitute for instructors when required.
• Monitor and support students during practicum or clinical placements, when applicable.
• Follow all College policies, procedures, and professional standards.
