Our Client, a Banking company, is looking for a Business Analyst V for their Toronto, ON/Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, analyze, document, and manage business requirements throughout the lifecycle of an initiative in alignment with the business needs and strategies.
- Lead, analyze, document, and manage requirements with stakeholders by applying a variety of techniques to probe, elicit, challenge, understand, and gain consensus on requirements.
- Work with SMEs to identify, document, and validate current state processes and support stakeholders to design the desired future state; provide recommendations and/or direction based on the end-to-end customer experience when making decisions.
- Ensure business processes/systems impacted by requirements are analyzed and the acceptance criteria clearly demonstrate the changes to meet customer needs.
- Document requirement-related dependencies and constraints, bridging communication between business and technology stakeholders.
- Define acceptance criteria with relevant stakeholders for testing, support test script development, and communicate issues and resolutions.
- Manage the traceability of business requirements.
- Leverage domain, product, and systems knowledge to understand the business, product, and vision; provide subject matter expertise and identify opportunities for business value and innovation.
- Promote innovation and critical thinking to identify improvement opportunities.
- Notify and escalate issues promptly, assessing options and recommending resolutions.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on delivery framework, scope, and objectives.
- Apply analytical skills to understand business problems and ensure solutions align with client risk appetite.
- Identify, document, and manage risks and issues related to requirements, escalating as needed.
- Manage stakeholder concerns and ensure timely problem resolution.
- Support implementation and post-implementation activities.
- Assist in RFI or RFP planning and activities as required.
- Provide oversight and guidance to ensure quality, reusability, scalability, and innovation in requirements delivery.
- Adhere to the Client Code of Conduct.
- Participate as a team member, supporting a positive environment and effective communication.
- Continuously enhance knowledge and participate in knowledge transfer within the team.
- Stay current on industry trends and grow knowledge of the business and tools.

- Lead end-to-end requirement gathering and documentation for assigned projects.
- Support testing and traceability of requirements from initiation to execution.
Requirements:
- Comfortable with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Ability to drive project teams to ensure comprehensive requirement capture and traceability.
- Experience in identifying and documenting requirement dependencies and constraints, facilitating communication between business and technology.
- Knowledge of Data Lifecycle Management.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Strong understanding of business analysis, delivery practices, and standards.
- Ability to act as a conduit for business and user interaction with technology.
- Leverage domain, product, and system knowledge to analyze impacted processes and define clear acceptance criteria.
- Identify risks and lead problem resolution.
- Lead requirements management for low to moderate complexity/risk projects.
- Possess discipline and subject matter expertise in requirements elaboration and validation.
- Support traceability and maintenance of requirements.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Identify and lead problem resolution efforts.
- Report to a Manager or Practice Lead.
- Educational background: Undergraduate degree.
- 3-5 years of relevant business analysis experience.
- Preference for candidates with Business Analysis Accreditation.
