Job summary

3Pillar Global, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst contractor in Canada to bridge client business teams with software delivery, drive process improvements, and document requirements for new initiatives.

You will translate business needs into functional specs, support testing, train end users, and stay ahead of industry trends. Experience with Agile and JIRA is valued, as is AI project awareness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6-8 years in a Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst or Business Analyst role with a successful delivery track record.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with critical and creative thinking.
• Proficient in requirement analysis, modeling, and documentation techniques (BRD, FSD, use cases, data flow).
• Proficient with wireframe/workflow tools like Balsamiq, Lucidchart, MS Visio, UML.
• Solid understanding of the SDLC and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (JIRA).
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills across stakeholder levels.
• Thorough understanding of software development architectures and lifecycle.
• Able to work as a transition lead.
• Knowledge of AI-based projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Proficient in various requirement analysis, modeling, and documentation techniques (e.g., business process modeling,BRD,FSD, use cases / user stories, data flow diagrams, data interrogation, data mapping, etc.)
• Proficient with tools to create wireframes/Workflow like Balsamiq, Lucid charts, MS Visio, UML etc.
• Solid understanding of the entire software development lifecycle and variousdevelopment methodologies(e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Excellentenglishcommunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of theorganization..
• Thoroughunderstanding of software development architectures and the entire software development lifecycle.
• Able to work as a transition lead.
• Shouldpossessknowledge to work on AI based projects

Additional Experience Desired

• Certification(s) such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (PMI Professional in Business Analysis) is a plus.
• Experience with Business Process Management Solutions such as Macess (BPM) is nice-to-hatar
• Background in finance/banking isaddon
• Knowldgeon AI tools and AI concepts.
