Job summary

Intellect Design Arena Ltd is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst (Banking) to join our client-focused delivery team. You will work independently or with a team to analyze requirements, define scope, and support projects from initiation through deployment.

The role requires strong communication, stakeholder management, and hands-on experience with banking platforms. You will coordinate with engineering, QA, and clients to ensure successful implementations and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• University degree in CS, business or related IT-focused discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience with at least 3 years in consulting and/or project management.
• Financial services background preferred, especially digital/online banking platforms.
• CBAP or PMP designation is an asset.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with conflicting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients on implementation needs from start to finish.
• Handle multiple projects for various clients.

Role: Business Analyst(Banking)

Job Description:

• As an independent contributor, or as part of a team, works with clients on their implementation needs, and supports the project from start to finish.
• Works on multiple projects, initiatives or clients at a time.
• Writes requirements analysis, impact analysis as required.
• Generates requirements documents and change orders for engineering teams to execute.
• Works with the engineering teams as they develop their code / configurations, answering questions and confirming requirements.
• Conducts or participates in discovery sessions on projects.
• Independently, or as part of a team, defines the product vision for a variety of products of significant scope, complexity and revenue potential.
• Performs functional, cursory and regression testing.
• Coordinates the code deployments to QA environments and assist the client with UAT testing.
• Coordinates and interfaces with client activities throughout the project lifecycle, updating budgets and other necessary client-facing collateral, ensuring adequate support and direction is given during UAT and production deployment.
• Updates internal tracking systems and ensures the project moves across the phases of the lifecycle.
• Updates and creates implementations guides.
• Ensures project time sheets from multiple teams are accurate and reflect the overall effort.
• Coordinates the activities of Implementation Analysts where the project size and complexity require additional efforts.
• Shares knowledge and specific product implementation strategy with other members of the team as requested.
• Collaborates with Client Development team to manage client relationships.

What you'll have:

• A university degree in computer science, business, or other related discipline with an IT focus.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience and minimum 3 years consulting and/or project management experience.
• Financial Services background is preferred, especially in digital, online banking platforms technology services.
• Business analysis and Project Management work experience required. CBAP or PMP designation is an asset.
• Able to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Works collaboratively and contributes in a team environment.
