Position Overview

Compugen is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a 1-year contract starting in July. Candidate must currently reside within Canada and be available to work CT.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop requirements, feasibility, cost, design, and specification documents for new or production systems.
2. Gather and analyze data for the conduct of studies to establish the technical and economic feasibility of proposed computer systems.
3. Analyze functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decisions flows and recommend solutions.
4. Define and document interfaces of manual to automated operations within sub-systems, to external systems, and between new and existing systems.
5. Define input/output sources including a detailed plan for technical design phase.
6. Define and document all systems components, their interfaces, and operational environment.
7. Define data structures and files, sub-systems and modules, programs, batch, online, production monitoring procedures, testing strategy, and systems.
8. Document systems design, concepts, and facilities, present and obtain approval for detailed system design.
9. Translate business requirements into systems design and technical specifications.
10. Work with developers to model and produce functional prototypes and operational systems including all forms, manuals, programs, data files, and procedures.
11. Implement systems to support projects, departments, organizations, or businesses.
12. Create, update, and maintain procedures and standards.
13. Maintain up-to-date business knowledge of standards, policies, and processes.
14. Provide expert consultation in production system analysis, performance, scalability, security, and maintenance.
15. Analyze and coordinate data file conversions including mapping, interfaces, mock conversions, enhancements, and actual conversions, verifying completeness and accuracy.
16. Work with importing/restructuring files and data from various sources and formats.
17. Contribute to the work breakdown structure and project plan.
