Red Hat is seeking Business Analyst interns to join the Raleigh team. You will work with a senior mentor to gain technical knowledge and collaborate with an international team locally and globally.

You will apply data management and analysis techniques to quantify the health and sustainability of open source communities and provide timely reports to stakeholders. This internship emphasizes collaboration and growth within Red Hat’s Emerging Talent program.

Job Summary

At Red Hat, our interns are an integral part of the team. They don't get relegated to busywork or unimportant tasks, but participate in the day-to-day work and are active contributors to their team. We are currently looking for Business Analyst interns to join us in Raleigh. You will work closely with a senior mentor to gain technical knowledge and experience in your field, and cooperate with a broader international team both locally and globally. During this internship, you will help apply data management and analysis techniques to quantify the health and sustainability of open source software communities. You will have regular contact with AL/ML engineers and other data scientists gaining important insights into how Red Hat fosters its open source communities to grow its business. And you'll collaborate with open source community builders to provide timely reports of upstream activities to Red Hat stakeholders. The focus for Red Hat's Intern Program is a dual partnership between the Emerging Talent Team, and our intern managers.

Job Responsibilities

• Collect and document input from Red Hat technology users, customers, and other stakeholders to understand customer needs and requirements.
