Job summary

Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services Inc. invites motivated students to join as an Intern - IT Analyst. You will participate in requirements analysis, help automate processes, and work across development, cloud, data, and integration environments.

You’ll support technical requests, monitor systems, and contribute to environment optimization in an Agile/DevOps setting. The role emphasizes autonomy, curiosity, and collaboration with strong French and working knowledge of English,

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or related field; must complete Winter 2027 credited internship.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with curiosity.
• Autonomy, proactivity, collaboration and communication in a team with diverse tools.
• Advanced French and intermediate English; ability to consult French docs daily.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements analysis and delivery of tech solutions.
• Contribute to the development, evolution, and automation of processes, scripts, or tools.
• Work across development, cloud, data, integration and other environments.
• Support the team with technical requests and problem resolution.
• Perform monitoring activities for systems and applications.
• Contribute to environment management and optimization (policies, configurations, deployments).
• Document technical solutions and keep documentation up to date.
• Participate in testing, validation and continuous improvement in an Agile/DevOps setting.

• Is currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration (MIS, IT), or a related field, and must complete a credited internship in Winter 2027 as part of their studies (the student will be required to provide a duly completed internship agreement);

• Has an intermediate level of English, as the role involves collaborating with English-only internal partners and consulting technical documentation in French on a daily basis.
