Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private clients, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.

Robertson is seeking a skilled Business Analyst III to join our client in support of an existing vacancy.

Contract Period: 4 months, potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: Starting from $52 per hour
Location: Toronto, ON
Location Type: Hybrid
Business Hours: Monday-Friday; core business hours

Job Responsibilities

• Support and evolve Enterprise Real Estate technology platform by applying strong, hands‑on experience within workflow‑driven systems
• Act as a key bridge between Enterprise Real Estate stakeholders and technology delivery teams, translating business needs into well‑defined functional requirements and ensuring solutions align with platform capabilities and best practices
• Serve as a seasoned, hands‑on Business Analyst with experience working directly within enterprise applications and workflow engines
• Have a strong understanding of how systems are designed to operate, with the ability to work through applications to understand process flows, system behavior, and module functionality, and translate those into clear, structured documentation
• Focus on supporting the modernization of the platform by leveraging out‑of‑the‑box (OOTB) capabilities and standardizing workflows
• Analyze how processes should function within the system, identify opportunities to simplify and align platform capabilities, and produce documentation that reflects intended system design and behavior
• Require strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to move between business and system perspectives
• Comfortable working in a complex, cross‑functional enterprise environment, collaborating with both business stakeholders and technology teams
• Experience with IBM TRIRIGA is an asset; candidates with strong experience in similar workflow‑based platforms (such as Pega or other BPM tools) will also be considered

Experience & Qualification Requirements

• 6+ years of Business Analyst experience working within enterprise applications
• Proven, hands‑on experience with workflow‑driven enterprise platforms, such as IBM TRIRIGA
• Experience with Pega or similar case management / workflow‑based applications
• Strong understanding of workflow‑based systems, including process flows, approvals, states, and lifecycle management
• Knowledge of how enterprise platforms drive and control business processes through system configuration
• Understanding of out‑of‑the‑box (OOTB) functionality vs. customization trade‑offs
• Demonstrated ability to work directly within applications to analyze and understand end‑to‑end process flows and system behavior
• Ability to interpret how workflows and modules function across different parts of the platform
• Translate platform capabilities into clear, structured functional documentation and process designs
• Experience producing high‑quality documentation, including process flows, functional requirements, and system‑level descriptions
• Experience working in complex, cross‑functional enterprise environments, partnering with both business and technology teams
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models, including use of tools such as Jira and Confluence
