Job summary

First National Financial LP is seeking a Business Analyst in Toronto to partner with stakeholders and drive system and process improvements across Residential Administration. You will develop data collection best practices, accompany changes from concept to implementation, and ensure documentation is accurate and stored properly.

The role requires collaboration with IT, Residential Administration, and other departments to optimize workflows.

Qualifications

• 2+ years BA experience or IIBA certification
• CSPO certification an asset
• 2+ years’ experience with First National system is an asset
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Moderate proficiency with BI tools (SQL, PowerBI, Tableau)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SCRUM

Responsibilities

• Cultivates change requests from conception to implementation, liaises between IT and Residential Administration
• Supports execution of stakeholder strategies and goals
• Assists with document change management for Residential Administration
• Prepares and updates Visio process maps
• Liaises with Training to manage support and documentation of changes
• Ensures system changes meet expectations with IT Product Owners, BAs and Developers
• Builds mockups and prototypes of proposed changes
• Evaluates business asks and generates solution proposals
• Supports servicing systems in the Residential Division (Optimus, Merlin, My Mortgage, Workflow)
• Gathers and documents business requirements for change requests
• Participates in Scrum ceremonies to manage backlogs
• Extracts data analytics with MS SQL and Optimus
• Develops automated workflows with Power Automate and Power Apps
• Incorporates MS Copilot to accelerate research and documentation
• Assists with workshops and reports formatting
• Maintains Power BI dashboards and SharePoint sites
