Job summary

LTM in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada seeks an experienced Business Analyst (Market Treasury) to analyze and translate complex treasury requirements into actionable technical specs.

You will collaborate with technology and business teams across regions, manage risk, and help deliver high‑quality solutions on time while supporting data‑driven decision making in FX, Money Market and Fixed Income products.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Banking with Treasury focus.
• Market Treasury products knowledge: Money Market, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives.
• Experience translating business requirements into functional specs; collaborates with Technology teams.
• Understanding front-to-back workflows across at least two asset classes.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methods.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large data sets, create flow diagrams and high-level workflows.
• Translate BRDs into functional specifications for Tech teams.
• Coordinate with dev leads on enhancements and defects; assist troubleshooting.
• Engage with developers and testers to ensure quality delivery on time and with low risk.
• Present status updates to senior business and technology managers on regional/global committees.
• Support project execution via JIRA and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Shape strategic architecture with development leads; evaluate technologies for FXLM domain.

10 years of relevant experience in Banking Industry with Treasury focus

Subject Matter Expertise on Market Treasury business with technical and functional expertise in a Markets and Financial environment

Candidate should understand and be able to perform analysis on all financial products viz Money Market Fixed Income FX Derivatives

Experience reviewing business requirements and suggest alternative solutions wherever already available else translate into a functional requirement investigate regional nuances to arrive at a comprehensive solution ensure it is acceptable to all regional business teams discuss in detail with Technology teams considering specific customizations required in each countryregion wherever compulsory

Experience presenting status reports to Senior Business and Technology senior managers on different Global and regionals committees

Experience delivering technology solutions at a high quality on time with minimum risk

Analyze huge data sets create flow diagrams prepare high level summaries and workflows

Work in close coordination with the development leads on enhancements and defects and assist with troubleshooting resolution of application defects

Shape the strategic architecture for the application by working closely with the development leads and by defining solutions that are robust and aligned with the technology roadmap

Develop best practices to be used in evaluating selecting and implementing technologies for use within FXLM technology more broadly

Monitor new developments in data visualization and analysis technology across ICG and in the industry more generally and provide recommendations about new technology adoption

Knowledge Experience

Experience as Business Analyst with any Investment Global Bank in Foreign

Exchange Trade Processing Risk Management areas

Should understand full front to back workflow for minimum of two asset classes

FX FI MM Derivatives viz deal capture deal execution risk management confirmations

accounting settlements etc

Familiarity with SDLC and Agile development methodologies

Knowledge of FX Options Bonds Rates is a plus
