Job summary

Cryopak is seeking a Business Analyst & Planning Lead to optimize planning activities for MRP, materials management, and production scheduling. You will lead and train new team members while ensuring material availability and efficient scheduling.

You will document processes, analyze data, and drive improvements across ERP/MRP configurations, dashboards, and reports to enhance planning accuracy and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, business, or related field.
• 3–5 years in business analysis within manufacturing, supply chain, or operations.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, materials planning, and production scheduling.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and data tools (Excel, Power BI).
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Bilingual English & French due to cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

This role combines analytical expertise with hands-on planning responsibilities and leadership in training and developing new team members.

You will ensure accurate material availability, efficient production scheduling, and continuous improvement of planning processes across the organization.

Business Analysis

• Analyze and document business processes related to MRP, inventory, production scheduling, and supply chain operations.
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to workflows and ERP/MRP configurations.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reports to support planning accuracy and operational performance.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for shortages, delays, and planning variances.
• Translate operational needs into actionable system or process changes.

MRP, Materials Planning & Scheduling

• Lead daily and long-term planning activities using ERP/MRP systems.
• Maintain planning parameters (lead times, safety stock, reorder points, BOM accuracy).
• Coordinate material availability to support production and customer demand.
• Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with capacity and priorities.
• Monitor and resolve planning exceptions, shortages, and supply risks.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, logistics, and engineering teams.
• Analyze demand trends, inventory levels, and supply chain risks.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in business analysis within manufacturing, supply chain, or operations.
• Strong knowledge of MRP systems, materials planning, and production scheduling.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and data tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.).
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Bilingual (English & French) - required due to collaboration with Quebec and France teams.
