JOB OVERVIEW

Reporting to the PMO Manager, the Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful Project implementation and optimization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Requirements Gathering:
• Work with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to understand user needs.
• Process Analysis:
• Map and analyze current business processes (as‑is) work with functional and technical team to design improved processes (to‑be).
• Identify inefficiencies, redundancies, or bottlenecks.
• Solutions Design:
• Collaborate with IT teams to design technical solutions that meet business needs.
• Documentation:
• Create clear and detailed documentation such as business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and use cases.
• Stakeholder Communications:
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams and project teams.
• Translate technical jargon into business-friendly language and vice versa.
• Testing and Validation:
• Assist in developing test plans and test cases.
• Validate that the final solution meets the business requirements.
• Change Management and Training:
• Support the implementation of new systems or processes.
• Help train users and ensure smooth adoption of changes.
• Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Use data to support decision‑making and measure the impact of implemented solutions.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Post Secondary Education in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science engineering or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum 2 to 5 years as a Business Analyst or experience working in IT/Project environments.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Strong understanding of project management and requirements analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel or Power Bi
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in a fast‑paced environment with multitasking responsibilities
