Job summary

CoFoMo Inc. in Quebec is seeking a Business Analyst to improve and validate business processes, coordinate stakeholders, and analyze regulatory impacts.

You will present to managers and authorities, and support the business field with planning and change management initiatives. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree and has 3–8 years in business analysis, with fluency in French and strong documentation skills.

Here is a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities

• Update business files, optimize business processes or design new ones, validate them, implement them and follow up with users and competent authorities


• Analyze and evaluate the impacts resulting from regulatory or legislative changes


• Support the business field in its role and responsibilities


• Plan, organize and coordinate the various stakeholders in the business field


• Deliver presentations to the client's managers and authorities


• Conduct meetings and content workshops aimed at achieving the required deliverables as the case may be


• Participate in the development of the training strategy and planning


• Gather and communicate the concerns, needs and constraints of users and managers to project managers


• Participate in the planning of change management strategies and the communication plan facilitating the transition of stakeholders


• Contribute to the identification of deployment waves, ensure that constraints and needs are taken into account when preparing for deployment and coordinate deployment activities at the client's site


• Develop management indicators


• Propose new working methods, reforms or changes to the system


• Perform diagnostics on certain services in order to correct certain existing problems and improve productivity


• Participate in the risk analysis related to the various organizational changes


• Develop different studies for any business project involving the main stakeholders (managers, users, information resources, etc.)


• Validate current processes with users and ensure that you understand the new needs in order to identify the nature of the changes and thus propose appropriate solutions


• Carry out workshops with the main project stakeholders


• Validate and approve the deliverables produced by the production team


• Design, write, set up and execute acceptance tests that will validate the quality and proper functioning of the system as a whole


• Write documentation such as the user manual and may be called upon to contribute to other training materials


• Accompany users

The profile we are looking for is as follows

• Have a bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration or any other equivalent education


• 3 to 8 years of experience in business analysis in computer-related projects


• Have a perfect command of the oral and written French language


• Possess good business case writing skills


• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform (asset)


• Specialization with M365 (asset)
