This senior-level Business Analyst role requires a seasoned professional with 7+ years of experience leading business and requirements analysis in IT projects. The successful candidate will elicit, analyze, and document business needs, develop key artifacts, optimize business processes, and drive digital transformation initiatives. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills are essential, along with experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments. The role involves supporting business readiness and change management efforts.

Responsibilities :

• Lead business and requirements analysis, eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Develop key artifacts such as BRDs, FRDs, process models, use cases, and user stories.
• Analyze business challenges and recommend strategic technology solutions.
• Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and vendors.
• Facilitate requirements workshops, JAD sessions, and stakeholder interviews.
• Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Conduct process analysis and optimization to improve efficiency.
• Identify and lead automation and digital transformation initiatives.
• Support the implementation of data-driven decision-making strategies.
• Work within Agile (Scrum / Kanban) and Waterfall environments.
• Support product owners in backlog refinement and roadmap planning.
• Ensure business requirements are translated into technical specifications.
• Prepare stakeholders for new processes, systems, or automation.
• Align business expectations and minimize resistance to change.
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer for smooth transitions.

Required Skills & Certifications :

• 7+ years as a Business Analyst in IT projects.
• Strong expertise in business modeling (BPMN, UML, data flow diagrams).
• Proficiency in BA tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, Lucidchart, MIRO, SharePoint, MS Teams).
• Experience in process re-engineering, workflow optimization, and automation.
• Ability to work in Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills & Certifications :

• CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile (CSM, CSPO, SAFe), PMP certifications.
• Experience with data-driven decision-making tools (Power BI, SQL, Advanced Excel).
• Knowledge of ERP, CRM, or Cloud-based solutions.
• Familiarity with OPS governance, procurement, and compliance frameworks.
