About the team you are joining

IT and Data Project Management Office (I&D PMO) aims to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of IATA's Software Project Management practices. A PMO is a centralized function that provides support, governance, and oversight for projects and project management activities.

What Your Day Would Be Like

The Business Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to identify, analyze, document, and prioritize business requirements and objectives. They will act as a liaison between business divisions and technology teams to ensure project alignment with IATA goals. The Business Analyst will support successful solution implementation through insights, recommendations, and ongoing support throughout the software project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements, ensuring clarity, completeness, and alignment.
2. Requirement Analysis: Analyze and prioritize requirements, assess feasibility, and recommend solutions or process improvements.
3. Process Modeling: Create visual process representations to identify optimization opportunities.
4. Data Analysis: Interpret data to provide insights, identify trends, and support decision-making, ensuring data quality.
5. Business Case Development: Assist in creating business cases with clear expected outcomes.
6. Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication among business, project, and technical teams to ensure shared understanding.
7. Solution Design: Work with architects and designers to translate requirements into specifications, mock-ups, or prototypes.
8. Testing and Quality Assurance: Define test cases and participate in testing to ensure solutions meet requirements and standards.
9. Risk Assessment: Identify risks, evaluate impacts, and develop mitigation strategies.
10. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation including requirements, plans, and manuals.
11. Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate solutions, identifying opportunities for process enhancements.

2. You have proven experience as a Business Analyst translating business needs for technical solutions.
3. You are proficient in requirement gathering and documentation.
4. You have experience with process modeling and data analysis tools.
5. You are knowledgeable about Agile methodologies, SDLC, and JIRA tools.
6. BA Certificates are a plus.
