Pay Rate : $28.85 / hour + 4% vacation pay
Locations : Hybrid, in office Mon, Tues, Thurs – Chatham ON, N7M 5M1
Role Duties :
- Assist our Contract and Compliance CSRs (Customer Support Representatives) supporting the (DP) Direct Purchase Market with the following :
- Maintain and develop positive relationships with internal and external clients.
- Preparation for DP contract renewals – review, analyze and update consumption volumes as required.
- Assist with tracking : DP renewals, DP amendments, compliance items, credit exposure, terminations.
- Ensure practices adhere to business policies and contract compliance.
- Investigate anomalies for meter and billing issues; act as a liaison between our team and the Billing team within Customer Care Operations, including tracking responses.
- Analyze and reconcile end use cycle account consumption reports with banked gas reports.
- Answer common questions from DP marketers, customers, and internal groups.
- Investigate and assemble information requested by our marketers and customers.
MUST HAVES :
- Business, Finance or Math degree OR Business or Finance College diploma & 2 years + of relevant work experience.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite) and familiarity with database concepts, query tools, and general business applications. (Strong math skills are essential to this role.)
- Ability to analyze large volume of data.
- Ability to perform multiple work assignments at varying stages of completion with a high degree of accuracy while working to tight time constraints and changing priorities.
- A broad understanding of or ability to quickly learn the direct purchase and distribution contracting business in order to apply strong analytical, investigative, and reporting skills to resolve issues within the confines of the regulated business environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence others and negotiate.
- Strong professionalism, communication, collaboration, time management, and organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision at times and drive results on your own.
NICE TO HAVE :
- Understanding of Direct Purchase contract administration, customer billing and / or financial systems.
- Working knowledge of ConTrax, Enerline, SAP CIS, WEBi, Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Word.
- Understanding of Large Volume (natural gas) contract language and rates.
- Demonstrated front line customer service / contact experience.
- Experience in the natural gas and / or utilities market.
