Job summary

Conexus Credit Union in Saskatchewan seeks a Business Advisor, Agriculture to support our agriculture members in Humboldt and surrounding communities. You’ll provide needs-based holistic financial advice, including credit and wealth solutions, and help grow a personal book of business.

You will build relationships, stay informed on industry trends, and balance opportunity with risk to promote member success and Conexus profitability. 3+ years of advisory experience required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of financial advisory experience.
• Understanding of financial statements and risk assessment.
• Strong credit underwriting ability.
• Experience in business development and pursuing growth opportunities.
• Post-secondary education in Business, Agriculture, Economics, or Finance is an asset.

The bigger picture

We're looking for a team player who thrives on developing relationships and providing creative solutions to come on board as a Business Advisor, Agriculture to assist our members in Humboldt and area. The preferred locations for this position are Humboldt, Saskatoon and Prince Albert, however, this opportunity is open to any Conexus location within the area.

You will be providing needs-based holistic financial advice (e.g. credit and wealth solutions; cash management services to support banking and deposit management) to our agriculture members.

The Experience You Bring

• 3+ years of financial advisory experience
• Thorough understanding of financial statements and assessing risk
• Strong credit underwriting ability
• Proven experience in business development, including identifying, pursuing, and converting growth opportunities
• Post-secondary education in Business, Agriculture, Economics, or Finance is an asset

Salary range

$78,800 - $105,070 with 15% Short-Term Incentive Target
