Job summary

Manning Park Resort is seeking a seasonal Bus Driver to support Alpine Operations in the mountains of BC. You will transport guests and staff to the ski hill in winter conditions and assist with resort duties as needed.

Qualifications include a Class 1 or 2 license with air brake endorsement, a clean driving abstract, winter alpine driving experience, and strong customer service. Seasonal housing is available and cross-training opportunities may arise during the winter season.

Responsibilities

• Drive guests and staff to the ski hill in winter conditions.
• Perform pre-checks on vehicles and coordinate with maintenance.
• Pickup and drop off supplies between the resort and the ski hill.
• Maintain winter warming huts.
• Assist in maintenance of the ski hill and resort on non-driving days.
• Other duties as required.

We are presently searching for our next great team member as a Bus Driver to join our Alpine Operations team. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)

• Driving guest & staff to and from the ski hill in winter conditions.
• Perform pre-check duties on vehicles, and work with our maintenance dept. to identify any issues.
• Pick up and drop off supplies between the resort and the ski hill.
• Maintain winter warming huts.
• Assist in the maintenance of the ski hill and resort area on non-driving days.
• Other duties as required.

Job Requirements / Qualifications:

• Class 1 or 2 with air brake endorsement is required.
• Must have clean drivers abstract.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Winter Alpine driving experience.
• Experience driving passenger vehicles.
• Experience with snow removal equipment (Skid steer, grader, etc.) is an asset.
• First Aid certification is an asset.

This is a seasonal position; you must be able to commit to the role for the full Winter Season (November-April). As a seasonal team member you may be presented with opportunities to cross train and support in other departments to meet seasonal demands.
