Regent Christian Academy Society is seeking a casual/on-call school bus driver to operate routes for Sullivan and Cloverdale campuses in Surrey, BC. Join a faith-based educational community prioritizing student safety, punctuality, and professional communication with families and staff.

Requirements include a BC Class 2 license, clean driving record, and ability to pass background checks; First Aid Level 1 is required or available through RCA’s sessions.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Class 2 driver’s license.
• A clean driving record is required.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
• First Aid Level 1 certification required; training available if not currently held.

Responsibilities

• Operate school bus safely on assigned routes and schedules.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students during transport.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain order and enforce school bus safety rules.
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, and staff.
• Respond calmly to emergencies or unexpected situations.
