Job summary

Natural Factors in Kelowna, BC, seeks a Bulk Packaging Operator to package gelatin capsules in accordance with SOPs and GMP guidelines. You will support a clean manufacturing environment, operate packaging lines, and uphold safety and quality standards with a hands-on approach.

You will maintain equipment, perform quality checks, handle paperwork, and work within a team that values sustainability and continuous improvement. Excellent benefits accompany the role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform regular in-process quality checks.
• Disassemble, clean and re-assemble packaging equipment as needed.
• Inspect gelatin capsules for defects and ensure quality.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork and records.

Job Summary

The BulkPackaging Operatorpackages bulk gelatin capsules in accordance with packaging instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’S) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements, while taking into consideration the company’s commitment to our seven Core Values such as sustainability (people, the planet, and profit) in the planning and implementation of all actions related to the area of responsibility.

In this role you will:

• Maintain and operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform regular quality in process checks

Technical

• Ability to learn and use company specific software, such as the Warehouse Management System
• Previous experience with operation and setup of packaging equipment an asset
• Previous production and GMP experience an asset

Attributes

• Must have the ability to work in and create a team atmosphere
• Capable of performing all job duties in a fast-paced environment, including lifting up to 11kgs and standing for extended periods
• Excellent attention to detail and follows directions well
• Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this job
