Job Summary

Are you ready to take on a dynamic role where you handle, move, load, and unload materials using a variety of material handling equipment? Join our team and be a crucial part of maintaining the levels of IT tanks for filling requirements, ensuring smooth operations in our facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Tank Management:Maintain IT tank levels to meet filling requirements, ensuring a seamless transfer of liquids from FT tank farm to fill room IT tank farm.
• Daily Coordination:Communicate with the filling supervisor daily to assess needs and arrange your work schedule accordingly.
• Loading and Unloading:Handle the loading and unloading of rail cars and bulk trucks into FT tank farm, following specific SOP guidelines.
• Truck Operations:Operate the truck scale, prepare trucks for loading, and manage paperwork efficiently.
• DEF Handling:Unload DEF from bulk trucks to HTF facility, ensuring accurate measurements and paperwork distribution.
• Equipment Operation:Navigate and drive mechanized material handling equipment, inspecting rail cars and materials for any issues.
• Safety and Protection:Install protective devices to prevent damage during transportation and provide information for incident reports related to health and safety.
• Production Coordination:Work closely with production supervisors to schedule and prioritize workloads, meeting daily production needs.
• Additional Support:Assist Shipping and Receiving and other departments as needed, performing any tasks assigned by your direct supervisor.

Experience and Qualifications

• Education:High School Diploma required.
• Skills:Good basic math skills, excellent English for reading work orders and receiving oral instructions.
• Experience:1-2 years of related work experience, preferably in a high-speed production warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Physical Fitness:Ability to work outside in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment.
• Interpersonal Skills:Strong time management and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-Solving:Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and solve problems effectively.
• Equipment Operation:Proficiency in operating mechanical equipment, including forklifts.
• Certifications:Track and Rail Car Inspection, Track Mobile Certification, TDG Certification, Emergency Spill Response Training, First Aid Certification.
• Technical Skills:Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel applications, familiarity with Bowser for inputting Purchase Orders and Receiving, and computer knowledge on railcar release and tracking capabilities.
