Summary

Under the responsibility of the Logistics Supervisor, the Material Handler I performs warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.

Shifts :

4:00 pm - 12:30 am, Monday to Friday

Wage :

$20.46 per hour + $0.50 per hour evening shift premium

Responsibilities
  • Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
  • Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
  • Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading trucks.
  • Manage day-to-day warehouse paperwork (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
  • Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Three or more years of experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • At least one year of forklift operation experience.
  • Familiarity with automated warehouse management systems (PKMS) is an asset.
  • Valid Forklift Operator's License.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills across all organizational levels.
  • Highly thorough, dependable, punctual, and with good attendance.
  • Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
