Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Canada is seeking a Project Coordinator - Buildings to help plan, organize, control and complete engineering activities within a defined scope. You will assist in producing Construction Work Packages and coordinating deliverables with field teams and design engineers.

The role requires post-secondary engineering/technology education and 3–5 years in project engineering within construction or EPC environments.

Qualifications

Post secondary education in an Engineering or Technology Mechanical Electrical or Civil discipline.
Minimum 3–5 years experience in project engineering in a construction or EPC environment.
Excellent interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) skills.
Strong interpersonal skills when communicating with a large team.
Organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining Comprehensive Work Packages with construction and engineering.
Provide status reports on project milestones and schedule adjustments.
Coordinate preparation and delivery of project deliverables and design documents.
Ensure construction activities adhere to approved policies, standards and procedures.
Foster effective liaison between field trades and design engineers for problem resolution.
