Canadian Blood Services is seeking a Temporary full-time Building Systems Technician III to join the Enterprise Facilities team in Ottawa/Sudbury. You will oversee operation and maintenance of HVAC and water treatment systems, support life-safety equipment, and supervise contracted work to ensure compliance with CBS standards.

This role requires post-secondary education in Heating & Cooling or Electrical, BES Operator certificates, and at least six months in building automation and power

Formación

• Post-secondary education in Heating & Cooling or Electrical systems is required.
• BES Operator Class I/II or Systems Maintenance Technician certification preferred.
• Six months experience operating and monitoring building automation systems.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Excellent MS Office skills and ability to transfer technical knowledge.
• Knowledge and use of card access systems for security.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain HVAC and water treatment systems.
• Perform inspections, testing and maintenance of life-safety equipment.
• Support building and grounds maintenance as required.
• Carry out after hours on-call duties on rotation.
• Act as contracting manager; supervise contractors and ensure specs compliance.
• Document work accurately and timely.
