Job summary

CBRE seeks a Building Operator to monitor and maintain building systems across plumbing, electrical, and climate control areas. The role includes preventive maintenance, repairs, and vendor coordination to ensure reliable operations and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate has 4–5 years of related experience, is proficient with Microsoft Office, and can manage challenging situations with a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of related experience.
• Experience with HVAC or overhead doors is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, and control systems.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance for facility assets and safety systems.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety policies.
• Serve as primary contact for urgent facility issues to minimize downtime.
• Monitor HVAC performance and energy management; adjust as needed.
• Prioritize and manage work orders, track progress in SI7.
