Job summary

QuadReal Property Group is seeking a Building Operator, Level 2 in Calgary. You will work with the operations team to maintain safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible building systems across a portfolio, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety equipment.

The role requires a 4th Class Power Engineer or ABSA Building Operator Certificate, 3+ years in commercial high-rise operations, and strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Mandatory 4th Class Power Engineer or Building Operator Certificate in ABSA.
• Minimum 3 years’ direct experience in commercial high-rise building operations.
• Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain climate control and mechanical systems in buildings.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and unscheduled repairs (HVAC, plumbing, lighting, electrical, life safety).
• Monitor BAS and respond to alarms; assist with troubleshooting and tenant service requests.
