Job summary

A community-focused organization in Calgary is seeking a Building Operator. In this full-time role, you will perform essential maintenance and inspections on HVAC and pool systems. Ideal candidates will hold a 5th Class or 4th Class ABSA Power Engineering Certification and possess strong mechanical aptitudes. Responsibilities include routine facility maintenance, contributing to safety protocols, and efficient communication with team members. Qualifications

• Experience with the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Must acquire a Pool Operator Certification Level 1 & 2.
• Current Standard First Aid with CPR-C certificated within the last 12 months.
• Experience in building automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Regular daily inspection and record keeping of HVAC systems.
• Contribute to ongoing Planned Maintenance Program.
• Perform monthly scheduled load testing on emergency generator.
• Maintain Pool systems with regular inspections.
• Ensure effective communication within the branch.
• Be part of the on-call rotation for maintenance.
