Your New Role
In this role, you will be based on an AAA office tower in the heart of Downtown Vancouver. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of this commercial building. You’ll be responsible for ensuring building systems run smoothly, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems. Working closely with the property management team, you’ll help maintain a high standard of comfort, safety, and efficiency for tenants and visitors. The Building Operator will be working independently and as a part of a team to maintain the building and respond to tenant requests in an efficient and professional manner.
What you’ll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial building maintenance and building operations. This Buiding Operator will have extraordinary interpersonal skills and ensure that tenants are provided with exemplary service. You will be working with internal Property Management and Building Operations teams as well as tenants, vendors, contractors and other service providers. Experience working on LEED or AAA buildings is an asset. Working towards your 4th or 5th Class Power Engineering Certificate will also be taken into consideration. Software experience using Yardi is an asset.
