Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Building Operator in Calgary. The successful candidate will manage operations, including HVAC, provide exceptional customer service, and nurture tenant relationships. About the role
You are a great teammate who thrives in delivering top-quality customer service to our clients. You are organized and manage daily operations, including water treatment testing and supervising HVAC systems, equipment logs, lighting, plumbing, and DDC systems. You respond quickly to occupant requests and are responsive. You also understand that, given the unique nature of the property, you may be called upon to lead and participate in unique initiatives. This role may require emergency procedures training at multiple locations.
You build positive working relationships with tenants and your team members, sharing your expertise and collaborating as a group.
You work with minimal direction and bring your technical expertise to a hard-working team.
What You bring
2-5 years of related experience in a commercial real estate environment
5th or 4th class Power Engineering Certification
Strong communication and customer service skills
A valid driver’s licence for Alberta, as well as your own vehicle
Ability to multitask and be responsive to time sensitive tasks
Flexible in working hours and able to respond to emergencies after hours
