What does the role involve?

In collaboration with their supervisor, the Team Leader inspires, guides, and motivates their team to ensure safe and efficient execution of operations. They respond quickly to unforeseen situations, prioritize health and safety, and play an active role in continuous improvement. They leverage individual strengths to build a high-performing, engaged team that reflects Bain Magique’s core values.

What will your responsibilities be as a Team Lead?

• Promote and maintain a safe work environment;

• Plan, assign, and monitor the execution of daily tasks;

• Maintain a strong presence on the floor and support employees in their activities;

• Lead shift meetings and ensure clear communication between shifts;

• Conduct audits, track performance indicators, and identify training needs;

• Support the team in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives;

• Collaborate on performance evaluations and employee development.

What is the ideal profile for this position?

• 3 years of experience as a Team Leader

• Inspiring leadership and ability to build trusting relationships

• Vocational diploma in building maintenance or another related trade, or relevant experience related to the position

• Proficient in painting, plastering, light plumbing, carpentry, ceramic tile installation, and facility maintenance

• Good knowledge of building codes and standards (an asset)

• Proficient in MS Office applications
