The employee will handle grounds, cleaning, light maintenance, and routine inspections, while coordinating with teams and subcontractors as needed. Prior experience in facility maintenance is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of general repair techniques.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Must be able to work from heights.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Sound understanding of hand and power tools.
• Proactive and positive attitude towards addressing maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform sorting, stacking, cleaning, washing, stocking and inspection of cartons, pallets, or parts as assigned to support the operation.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly and effectively.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, and workspaces, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
• Address employee requests and concerns regarding facility maintenance in a professional manner.
• Role will focus primarily on grounds maintenance; painting and cleaning walls, doors; window/mirror cleaning; trash/recycling removal; wipe down and sanitize surfaces in common areas; cleans and stocks restrooms; handles leaf and snow removal as needed; vacuuming and mopping; cleans light fixtures; maintains inventory of consumables and supplies; coordinate with subcontractors for special services; other tasks as instructed by Maintenance Supervisor.

• Ability to operate a forklift
