Job summary

Patry Group of Companies in Kingston, Ontario is seeking a reliable Building Cleaner to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming living spaces for residents and guests.

You will travel between our properties, perform routine cleaning, report maintenance needs, and interact with residents in a friendly, professional manner. Prior cleaning experience is an asset but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, maintenance, or property upkeep is an asset but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Friendly and professional attitude with basic customer service skills.
• Physically capable of performing cleaning duties and being on your feet all day.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common areas including hallways, lobbies, stairwells, and amenities.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and ensure shared spaces remain neat and presentable.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness and identify maintenance needs.
• Interact with residents in a friendly, professional manner and assist with inquiries.
• Visit multiple Patry Group buildings to maintain cleaning standards across the portfolio.

You will travel between our properties, helping ensure our buildings remain welcoming, safe, and spotless for residents and guests.

What You’ll Do

Keep Our Buildings Looking Their Best

• Clean and maintain common areas including hallways, lobbies, stairwells, and amenities.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and ensure shared spaces remain neat and presentable.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness and identify maintenance needs.

Take Pride in the Details

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization throughout each property.
• Report maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Ensure supplies and cleaning equipment are properly used and maintained.

Support a Great Resident Experience

• Interact with residents in a friendly, professional manner.
• Assist with basic inquiries and direct residents to the appropriate team members when needed.
• Help create a welcoming and respectful environment in each building.

Travel Between Properties

• Visit multiple Patry Group buildings as needed to maintain cleaning standards across the portfolio.
• Ensure consistency in cleanliness and presentation at every location.
