Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a detailed financial analyst to support month-end closing, budgeting, and data reconciliation. You will partner with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and drive process improvements across revenue and royalties.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, a degree in accounting, and strong Excel and Power BI skills. Fluency in French and English is highly valued, and you will interact with internal clients and producers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• CPA accounting title or pursuing is a strong asset.

• Support month-end processes and key operational needs, including monthly revenue analysis and royalty payments
• Understand day-to-day and month-end closing processes to ensure data accuracy and support special projects
• Support budget planning by coordinating administrative activities with key stakeholders
• Perform in-depth data analyses and reconciliation
• Participate in optimizing and harmonizing operational month-end processes
• Support internal business clients with administrative needs
• Calculate and process producer royalties
• Act as the main financial liaison for producer contacts
• Perform other related tasks or projects as needed
• Report to the Senior Manager, Budgeting and Internal Reporting

Requirements

• University degree in accounting or equivalent
• Between three to five years of relevant experience
• CPA accounting title or working towards the same is considered a strong asset
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Practical experience with Power BIAbility to manipulate, analyze and interpret a large volume of data for non-finance stakeholders
• Keen eye for detail; autonomous and proactive
• Ability to independently resolve problems and provide practical solutions to management
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and management
• Ability to work with various systems, tools and software simultaneously and quickly adapt to new tools and technologies
• Desire to improve process efficiency and contribute to maximizing revenues through financial measurement instruments
• Fluency in French and English, spoken and written, is a major asset
