Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Canada is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead road and railway bridge projects. You will review assignments, perform structural analysis, and develop technical solutions while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with clients and other disciplines.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree, are licensed (OIQ/PEO), with 8+ years of bridge experience. French fluency and basic English are required; hybrid work options apply in Canada.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and licensure with OIQ or PEO.
8+ years of bridge and civil structures design experience.
Proficiency in French with basic English and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver road and railway bridge structure projects from planning to design and verification.
Prepare quantity take-offs, schedules and cost estimates for tendering and construction phases.
Apply and maintain proficiency in bridge/structural design software (AD America, CSIBridge, SAFI).
Mentor junior engineers and EITs, participate in technical committees.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure client requirements are met.
