AtkinsRéalis Canada Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer in Montreal to lead bridge and structural projects across road and rail sectors. You will design structural solutions, develop analysis models, and oversee drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.

The role emphasizes leadership, client engagement, and mentoring junior staff within a multidisciplinary team, with a hybrid work culture and strong focus on safety and ethics. Fluency in French and English is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
• Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
• More than 15 years of experience in bridge and civil structures engineering, with a strong focus on design.
• Demonstrated ability to serve as a Project Manager and actively contribute to major infrastructure and bridge projects.
• Proficiency in spoken and written French and basic proficiency in spoken and written English, with strong communication, client service, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsabilités

• Deliver road and railway bridge and structure projects by reviewing assignments, technical requirements, specifications, and information related to the structures being developed.
• Design structural solutions, develop analysis models and calculations, oversee the preparation and review of engineering drawings, and prepare technical specifications, quantity take-offs, schedules, and construction cost estimates.
• Support clients throughout the tendering, construction, and implementation phases of projects.
• Act as a technical discipline lead by verifying structures, plans, specifications, and studies, coordinating interfaces with other disciplines, and developing innovative engineering solutions.
• Support Project Managers and the Team Lead in preparing service proposals, planning resources, developing work plans, maintaining client relationships, and improving engineering practices and calculation tools.
