Job summary

Associated Engineering seeks an experienced Project Manager for our Edmonton or Calgary offices. You will manage standard and major bridge projects for public and private sector clients, guiding teams, preparing reports, and supporting proposals.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer with APEGA (registered or eligible).
  • 7+ years in structural engineering and/or PM in transportation.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Experience in bridges design and construction is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage budget and schedule.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Team player, self-motivated.
  • Travel ability; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and provide technical expertise on bridges and bridge structures with a focus on client service.
  • Lead the project team through technical reports to meet project and client needs.
  • Prepare engineering fee estimates.
  • Monitor, control, and report project status internally and externally.
  • Prepare proposals and participate in business development for the group.
  • Apply project management principles to motivate and guide teams.
  • Lead design teams and manage projects within defined budget and quality.
