Job summary

Associated Engineering Group invites an experienced Project Engineer to join our Edmonton office. You will lead bridge and culvert projects for municipal clients, providing project management and technical support across transportation initiatives.

Qualifications

Undergrad degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
Registered or eligible for PEng or EIT with APEGA.
3–5 years of bridge engineering experience in consulting.
Experience with Alberta Transportation is an asset.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Valid driver’s licence.
Ability to travel within Alberta.

Responsibilities

Lead with forward-thinking problem solving for municipal clients and bridges.
Provide project management and technical support on transportation projects (bridges and culverts).
Manage designs for replacement/rehabilitation of bridges, culverts, and pedestrian bridges.
Oversee drawings, contract documents, and design support.
Mentor junior staff and provide guidance.
Advance projects through planning, design, and construction phases.
Prepare technical reports, models, and design calculations.
Collaborate with multiple disciplines and offices.
