Job summary

Pomeroy Lodging is seeking a friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team in British Columbia. You will set up breakfast, brew coffee, and ensure a warm, first-impression experience for every guest.

You will maintain the breakfast area, greet guests, manage stations, and uphold food safety standards while working early shifts and some weekends. Prior hotel experience is preferred and a Food Safe Certificate is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hotel position is an asset.
• Food Safe Certificate is preferred.
• Excellent Customer Service is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes guests entering the breakfast room in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Sets up all stations on the breakfast bar, brews coffee, and prepares hot items for the start of breakfast hours.
• Maintains the breakfast room, food stations, and all guest contact points to be “picture-perfect” for a strong first impression.
• Begins shift with a well-stocked pantry of dry and fresh items to meet menu requirements.
• Maintains knowledge of food and beverage offerings and adheres to safety and health regulations.
