Job summary

Grey Matlock Bakery in Toronto is seeking a dedicated bakery production worker to join our on-site team. You will operate packaging machinery, monitor quality, and help maintain efficient production lines in a fast-paced environment.

No formal education is required, and candidates with 1 to less than 7 months of experience in baking or food production are welcome. You must be able to work at the physical location and adapt to a noisy, demanding setting.

Qualifications

• 1 to less than 7 months of experience in bakery production or a similar food‑manufacturing setting.

• On-site work in a bakery environment in Toronto, Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to process and package bakery products.
• Perform corrective machine adjustments.
• Record production information.
• Clean machines and immediate work areas.
• Inform supervisor of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities.
• Make adjustments to process variables.
• Maintain shift log of production and other data.
• Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines.
• Check products for defects and to ensure conformance to company standards.
