Job summary

Battlefield Equipment Rentals is seeking a Branch Manager in Charlottetown, PE. You will lead branch operations, ensuring safety, service excellence, and strong financial results.

Manage rentals, service, parts, and yard operations while driving profitability and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include hiring, training, coaching, and performance reviews; overseeing merchandising, pricing, and inventory; and delivering monthly/quarterly/annual reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of rental industry or related experience.
• Proven leadership and team development ability.
• Strong financial sense and business acumen.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Systematics/TRAC an asset.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership to branch staff across rentals, service, parts, drivers and yard operations.
• Ensure safety standards and a strong safety culture across the team.
• Drive revenue growth and profitability through location strategy and resource management.
• Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Manage merchandising, pricing, inventory control and product placement.
• Review reports, budgets, and financial statements; monitor credit and risk.
• Maintain inventories and approve expenditures; manage petty cash.
• Ensure high levels of customer service and timely issue resolution.
• Support emergencies, overtime, and travel requirements as needed.
