Job summary

ICONIX Waterworks Limited is seeking an experienced branch leader in Kamloops to drive daily operations in line with the business plan. You will oversee a team, manage the branch budget, and ensure safe, efficient operations across inventory and processes.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of related experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role, a valid driver’s license, and a preference for a business/finance-related degree.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Sales/Marketing or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of related work experience including 3 years in a leadership/management role.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to run the branch according to the business plan.
• Evaluate and improve the branch’s practices to meet timelines and drive continuous improvement.
• Track financial and operational progress and report metrics to the regional manager.
• Develop and manage the branch budget, including capital expenditures.
• Monitor inventory levels and purchasing to control slow and obsolete stock.
• Facilitate employee safety training.
• May perform other related duties as required to meet organizational needs.

About the Role

• Lead a team of employees to effectively and efficiently run the branch according to the business plan
• Evaluate and make the necessary changes to the branch’s current practices and procedures to improve daily operations, and prioritizes work to successfully meet timelines, managing continuous improvement
• Track financial and operational progress of branch and provide metrics data to the regional manager regularly
• Develop and manage branch budget (including capital expenditures). Forecasts budget expectations monthly
• Facilitate employee safety training
• Monitor inventory levels/purchasing and inventory budget including: reducing and controlling slow and obsolete inventory
• May perform other related duties within the scope of the position as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization
