Qualifications

  • Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering with a P.Eng designation.
  • 8+ years of leadership experience in civil construction or geotechnical project environments.
  • Proven ability to manage large or complex projects from planning to completion.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to identify and pursue business development opportunities.
  • Commitment to high-quality work, safety excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to mentor technical and project staff to support long-term team development.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee full project lifecycles, ensuring work aligns with client expectations and engineering standards.
  • Build and grow the regional market through networking and business development.
  • Manage contract negotiations and maintain productive relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Provide technical oversight through review of engineering drawings and guidance to engineers.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets and ensure resources and timelines.
  • Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams to foster a high-performing environment.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality assurance practices.
  • Monitor project financial performance, costs, and reporting.
  • Integrate sustainable engineering practices and innovative solutions into projects.

  • Ensure strict adherence to safety practices, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance processes
  • Monitor project financial performance, track costs, and prepare reporting as required
