Job description

Rentokil-Terminix Canada is one of the largest pest control providers to the property management sector. Since its founding, it has been an industry leader in pest control. Our certified specialists use innovative technologies to protect millions of homes and businesses throughout Canada.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Direct the day-to-day activities of the Operations Managers
  2. Manage and grow provincial accounts
  3. Build and maintain relationships with key clients
  4. Assist Regional Director with revenue growth, employee and customer retention
  5. Respond to new customer sales requests and inquiries
  6. Manage existing customer service requests, inquiries and escalations
  7. Provide support in managing employee or customer issues that Operations Managers may have
  8. Be knowledgeable of technical data concerning pesticides used, and their application in accordance to the label
  9. Learn and provide technical know-how on leading industry trends
  10. Implement company programs, initiatives, and current operational guidelines
  11. Accountable for operating within company and business unit policies and procedures; create an environment that motivates employees to be successful
  12. Maintain Inventory Control, including ordering; truck and account audits; warehouse inventory counts etc.
  13. Perform other duties as required
Requirements
  1. 5 years industry experience, or equivalent combination of education is an asset
  2. 5 years’ experience managing managers in a fast-paced environment required
  3. Strong Business acumen
  4. Ability managing and leading assigned projects and employees
  5. Ability to manage administrative duties along with field work
  6. Excellent organizational and time management
  7. Proficiency in written and verbal communication
  8. Excellence in clear and concise feedback, performance management and coaching
  9. Attention to detail and analytical skills
  10. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint/Documents, Sheets, Gmail, and Slides) at an intermediate level
  11. Valid driver’s License
  12. Valid Pest Control License or willing to obtain
  13. High school diploma; university degree preferred
  14. Licenses/certificates as required by federal and provincial regulations
  15. Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
  16. Ability to work at heights and lift in excess of fifty pounds

Compensation is between $90,000 - $120,000 based on experience.
