Job summary

The Canadian Bar Association in Ottawa is seeking a Branch Communications Liaison to coordinate branch communications and marketing for Shared Services. You will liaise with internal and national staff to manage content, update websites, and post content to social channels.

Requires a university degree or college diploma in marketing/PR/communications/journalism and 3+ years in social media, email management, and website maintenance with HTML/CSS/JS.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in posting and maintaining social media channels
  • Experience with email management systems
  • Website maintenance using a content management system
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA
  • Experience in a web, digital or communications environment

Responsibilities

  • Works with internal stakeholders to identify branch communication and marketing needs
  • Meets regularly with branch staff and leadership
  • Documents branch requests and coordinates deliverables
  • Schedules and sends emails to members
  • Updates CBA Branch websites
  • Writes content and posts on social media channels
  • Regularly attends Shared Services meetings
  • Maintains knowledge of policies, campaigns, and strategies
  • Other duties as assigned
