Job summary

The Burger’s Priest is hiring a full-time grill crew at our Beaches location in Toronto. You will follow recipe specifications, prepare, season and cook burgers, and operate kitchen equipment safely in a fast-paced environment.

We value teamwork and flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays, plus a Safe Food Handler certificate. Prior line cook experience is a plus. We offer flexible scheduling, competitive wages with tips, and employee dining discounts.

Qualifications

• Must possess Safe Food Handler certificate.
• Bonus points for previous experience as a line cook.

The Burger’s Priest is hiring a full-time grill crew at our Beaches location!

What You Will Do In This Role

• Follow recipe and presentation specifications
• Prepare, season and cook food as directed
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Adopt a “clean as you go” mentality and adhere to all sanitation/food production policies
• Be a team player by assisting co-workers as needed

What We Are Looking For From You

• Someone with high standards who ensures the perfect burger is served to our guests every time
• Passionate about food
• Works well in a team setting but can complete tasks independently as needed
• Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
• Well organized with the ability to multitask
• Available for mixed shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must posses safe food handlers certificate
• Bonus points for previous experience as a line cook
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in hot environments
