Job summary

The Burger's Priest in Calgary is seeking a BP Fryer to join our busy kitchen. You will follow recipes, prepare and cook fries, and operate kitchen equipment safely in a fast-paced environment.

We value high standards, teamwork and independence, with opportunities for growth and a 20% dining discount. Shifts include evenings, weekends and holidays. Must have a safe food handler certificate; prior line cook experience is a bonus.

• High standards to ensure perfect fries for guests.
• Able to work well in a team but complete tasks independently.
• Maintain composure in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Very organized with ability to multitask.

The Burger's Priest is hiring a BP Fryer at our 4600 130th Se. Calgary T3S 0C2 location!

What you will do in this role:

• Follow recipe and presentation specifications
• Prepare, season and cook food as directed
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Adopt a "clean as you go" mentality and adhere to all sanitation/food production policies
• Be a team player by assisting co-workers as needed

What we are looking for from you:

• Someone with high standards who ensures the perfect fries is served to our guests every time
• Passionate about food
• Works well in a team setting but can complete tasks independently as needed
• Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
• Well organized with the ability to multitask
• Available for mixed shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must posses safe food handlers certificate
• Bonus points for previous experience as a line cook
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in hot environments
