Job summary

Christian Dior Couture is seeking a Temp Operations Associate in Vancouver to maintain store inventory and stock areas, minimize loss, and ensure records and housekeeping standards are kept. You will support receiving, pricing changes, and packaging for customers in a fast-paced boutique environment.

This temporary/seasonal role requires strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to handle merchandise, and experience with inventory control systems.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle receiving operations and merchandise
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and follow-through skills
• Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation
• Ability to process information and merchandise through computer system
• Ability to operate equipment and systems used in inventory control

Responsibilities

• Process shipping/receiving to keep store inventory accurate
• Maintain orderly stock and receiving areas, ensure items are properly ticketed
• Process inbound freight, RTVs, chargebacks, transfers and damages per policy
• Support compliance with company policies and safeguarding funds and assets
• Ensure stock is security tagged to prevent loss
• Communicate with central distribution/corporate inventory control
• Participate in inventory and cycle counts
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, and display maintenance
• Assist with price changes and packing/wrapping of merchandise
• Assist in solving problems affecting receiving area service/productivity
• Follow all company policies; participate in meetings and trainings
• Perform other tasks as assigned by managers
